President & CEO
Bob has over 30 years of economic development experience. He has an extensive background in domestic and international corporate attraction, business growth and retention, and regional marketing. He has spearheaded major growth initiatives in the region such as the Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute and the KC Animal Health Corridor. He also created a focus on transportation and logistics - founding KC SmartPort, and a focus on IT companies through KCnext. Bob has a Master of Science degree from Purdue University. He joined KCADC in 1991.
Chief Financial Officer | Director of Human Resources
Sandi is responsible for managing all financial, human resources and benefits, and risk management for KCADC and Kansas City SmartPort. Sandi has over 20 years of administration and accounting experience. Sandi has a degree from Alaska Pacific University in English, specializing in technical writing. Sandi joined KCADC in 1995.
Assistant to the President | Office Manager
Dianne provides administrative support for Bob and KCADC's Board of Directors. She also is in charge of KCADC's office management operations. Dianne joined KCADC in 1998.
Manager, Finance & Administration
Dana has worked in the accounting field for over 15 years, which included experience in the banking industry and for the past nine years with an architecture firm. Dana joined KCADC's Administration Division as a Finance Specialist in September 2011.
Senior Vice President, Business Development
Tim leads KCADC's business attraction efforts. He has over 20 years of experience in economic development, as well as private sector experience in real estate and business management. Tim has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma. He joined KCADC in 1998.
Vice President, Business Development
Jill has 18 years of experience in business attraction and recruitment assisting companies and consultants with their site location decisions. Additionally, Jill leads several of KCADC's outreach and hosting events, briefings and site visits. Jill attended Indiana State University and received a Bachelors degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University. She joined KCADC in 1998.
Vice President, Bioscience Development
Kim is the "go-to" person on life sciences and technology. Kim has 11 years of experience in economic development in senior recruitment positions at the state and regional level and now leads KCADC's KC Animal Health Corridor effort. Kim has a Bachelor of Science from Pittsburg State University. She joined KCADC in 2011.
President, KC SmartPort
Chris is the President of KC SmartPort, Inc., a KCADC affiliate organization focused on facilitating growth of the transportation and logistics industry. Chris has been active in economic development and logistics for over 20 years. Chris has an MBA from Lincoln University. He joined KC SmartPort in 2003.
Cindy leads KCADC's research efforts providing various data and comparative analysis in support of KCADC's business recruitment efforts. Cindy has expert knowledge of appropriate resources and tools for gathering accurate data. Cindy joined KCADC in 1996.
Manager, Bioscience Development
Emily manages advertising and marketing opportunities for the KC Animal Health Corridor as well as maintains the Corridor website. She is also is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Animal Health Corridorís strategic priorities and directly manages the Animal Health Corridorís workforce development initiative. Emily has a Masters in Business Administration from Rockhurst University and joined KCADC in 2011.
Specialist, Business Development
Kate provides research, analysis, and information on the Greater Kansas City area in support of KCADC's business attraction efforts. Kate has a Bachelor of Science in History from Kansas State University, a Professional Certification in Paralegal Studies from Rockhurst University and is an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. She joined KCADC in 2012.
SmartPort, Marketing Specialist
Holly manages advertising and marketing opportunities, investor relations, strategic marketing goals, maintains the company website and is the lead for the supply chain education initiative. Holly has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Kansas State University. She joined KC SmartPort in 2012.
Senior Vice President, Marketing Communication
Martin leads all marketing, advertising, public relations and multi-media activities for KCADC. Martin has 30 years of experience in city branding and economic development. He has led high profile campaigns for the KC region including America's SmartCities and ThinkKC/OneKC, in addition to the recently launched KC 2.0. Martin has a Master of Science degree from Illinois State University and Bachelor of Arts from Southern Illinois. He joined KCADC in 1994.
Vice President, Marketing & Creative Services
Jonathan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute. He joined KCADC in 2004. Jon leads all of KCADC's brand strategy and creative execution for print, digital, video and events. He has 17 years experience in design and advertising and has worked on many global brands. Jon developed much of the brand strategy and the ďRed KC BallĒ graphic for the ThinkKC and OneKC campaigns, its resulting co-brands, and continues to lead ongoing brand integration with corporate and community partners throughout the KC region.
Vice President, Communications
Ashlie oversees all KCADC's communications, including online, print and spoken marketing and public relations messages. She has more than 10 years experience in economic development and 15 years working in public relations. Ashlie is an accredited public relations practitioner by the Public Relations Society of America and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loras College. She joined KCADC in 1999.
Director, Investor Relations
Jennifer serves as the primary point-of-contact for all of KCADC's investor members. She coordinates programs, events and communication to engage and involve investors in KCADC's business recruitment and marketing initiatives. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas. She joined KCADC in 2003.
Director, Events & Marketing
Jauqui coordinates and manages KCADC's events including client hosting and Full Council Investor Briefings. Jauqui has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She joined KCADC in 2005.
Manager, Marketing and Public Relations
Jessica serves as a key member of KCADCís marketing and communications team, and as the primary contact for KCADCís talent recruitment initiative. Jessica oversees KCADCís social media strategy and execution, and assists in regional and national media relations outreach. Jessica has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas. She joined KCADC in 2011.
Manager, Creative Services & Digital Content
Joey supports all of KCADCís creative execution including social media and interactive design. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Parsons The New School for Design. Joey joined KCADC in 2011.
Jana coordinates all presentations and partnership opportunities for KCADCís Americaís Creative Crossroads campaign. In addition, she assists with the organizationís event logistics, including client hosting and Full Council Investor Briefings. Jana graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 2010 and joined KCADC in 2012.
Ryan is the President of KCnext Ė The Technology Council of Greater Kansas City, the regional industry growth initiative for KCís tech sector. Ryan is an experienced fundraiser; most recently, he was a Director for Angel Capital Groupís Midwestern division and a Development Officer for this alma mater - Kansas State University. He joined KCnext in January of 2012.

Kaitlin manages marketing and communications for KCnext Ė The Technology Council of Greater Kansas City. She received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Kaitlin joined KCnext in 2013.
